Default Going on vacation, can I unplug kegerator?

Searched all over for this one..couldn't find an answer.

Going on 2 week vacation, can I unplug the kegerator w/ no ill effect?

Ambient temp will be 65 or so in my house.

why bother? It's only going to be a nickle's worth of energy.

But I don't see why not..

Just make sure to disconnect the gas lines and not reconnect them until everything is chilled back down. The only problem I see is that you won't have cold beer when you get back.

honestly unless you are worried about causing a freak fire, there is going to be veryy little energy usage since no one is opening/closing the fridge

Does not make much sense to do so. You will probably waste some energy trying to get the beer back to temp so doubt you will save anything. In addition you might have some mold/mildew issues - leave the lid open if you decide to do this.

Leave the key with someone who can come in and finish off the kegs.
