Default stopper blew off... screwed?

I'm an idiot and didn't use a blow off valve for my delrium clone. The stopper blew off while I was at work, foamed over. Am I screwed for contamination?

No. Shove a hose in the hole and make a blow off. It'll be fine.

I agree. your fine. If its still pretty active it is gonna be forcing out alot of CO2 making it hard for air to get in.

If my whole lid blew off, should I consider myself just as lucky regarding contamination?

Yes, as long as it was still fermenting pretty actively when/if you get the lid back on. If it was off a while it might become more flavorful due to less pressure on the yeast.
