Default Brew Cupboard Temp Controller.

This looks like a really easy way to stop the cupboard getting to cold.
What do you think.

Looks good to me!

I prefer a 2 stage controller like the Ranco ETC-211000. You can plug both a heater and an air conditioner into it and maintain the temperature within a 1 degree differential. From the factory, it requires some simple wiring, and it'll run on 110 or 220.

My plug would never fit in there.

The key question is what is the dead band? Any controller that can keep the temperature within a 2C range would be fine. I'd try & track down more information, but if your main need is heating in the cool season and it's dead band is around 2C, it would work fine.
