Iíve made a lot of Mead, Cysers and Braggots so far this year; a lot of 1 gallon batches along with a couple of 5 and 3 gallon also. I love to experiment. Wifey sez I must have been an Alchemist in some distant past life.
After the bottling, there is always some left that isnít enough to fill a bottle and too much to throw out. So I put it in a gallon jug and bottle it when the jug gets full of the dregs ĎblendĎ (settled out of course). I call it BOTTOM MEAD. And itís flavor will no doubt be full of surprises after a long aging.
Has anyone else done this?
