50% 5lb belgian pils
20% 2 lb Munich Malt
10% 1 lb Cara Vienne
7% 12 oz honey malt
5% 8 oz Cara Pils
5% 8 oz Melandolin
2% 4 oz Red Wheat
.75 oz Perle 8.1aa 21.2 IBU 60 min
.5 oz US Saaz 5.8aa 5 IBU 15 min
.5 oz US Saaz 2 IBU 5 min
1 oz US Saaz Dry hopped for 14 days.
Mash:
Doughed in to 3 1/8 gal 165* water. Started 60 min mash @ 152*, ended mash @ 149*
Batch Sparged 4.5 gal @ 165*
Started at 1.056, finished at 1.010
This is a Fantastic Beer! Kinda just threw a recipe together as a "starter" for a Tripel. If the tripel turns out as good i'll be very pleased.
