Default Rhizomes not growing

I planted several Rhizomes 4 weeks ago, Cascade and Fuggle are growing fine. The northern rhizomes have not shown any signs of breaking ground. I live in south central Pennsylvania and feel they are probably dead, the rhizomes looked dried out when I received them. Does anyone in the area have Northern roots they would like to sell.

How deep did you plant them?

I tried to keep them about 2 inches or so from the top.

4 weeks is a little long for being so shallow. They may be slow to start though. You can always get some more while waiting for these. One can never have too many hop plants .
