Well, after hitting my mash temp, the process quickly went downhill.
I've learned that there is a huge difference between HITTING your mash temp and MAINTAINING your mash temp. I now know that once I get that temp and add grains, to turn the burner to low!
Also, I will not use nearly as much water again. I'm finding that its easier to add water than to boil all day to get rid of it.
Oh well, I expected a learning curve on this batch. Worst thing I'll do is make beer.
