Out of curiosity are you using beer hose, or standard pvc/vinly tubing?

Great idea!

I think I have the same pump as you do, however, I use it to circulate icewater through my chiller, guess it can serve a dual purpose now.

Just regular beer line. I used mine for chilling as well. I'm having a HERMS put in my HLT though so I will use that to chill from now on.
