Yeast: WLP029 /kolsch   
Yeast Starter: 1 liter   
Batch Size (Gallons): 5   
Original Gravity: 1.056   
Final Gravity: 1.012   
IBU: 26   
Boiling Time (Minutes): 90   
Color: 8.8L   
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 10 days @72   
Tasting Notes: Very smooth, noticeable malt flavor.   

10lbs Pilsner malt
1lb Caramunich
4oz Biscuit

1.5oz Goldings (5%AA) at 60
.5 oz Goldings at flameout

Kolsch yeast for a Belgian? Interesting. I did one similar with 3787 (High Gravity Trappist - even though the beer was low gravity) and it is great.

My intentions were to brew the recipe for belgian pale from "brewing classic styles", but I decided to pitch the Kolsch yeast at the last minute just for the hell of it. Turn out to be one of my better beers.
