Default Mr. Beer, Anyone?

How many of you actually started brewing (if you could call it that...) with Mr. Beer? Be honest. I know I did... lol

If so how did your brews turn out? What did you think of Mr. Beer? ect...

I did and every beer I made was horrible. Of course, that was before I knew anything about controlling fermentation temps. I assumed ambient temp would be the same as the temp in the fermentor, thus my beer ended up tasting of green apple and fusel alcohol.
