Midwest supply and KegConnection are selling some keg insulators.

Are they really worth it? They should remain serving temperature for up to 24 hours.

I need to keep 5 gallons cornies at good temp this summer, without the need of a fridge, for the weekend and last summer, I used a lot of ice bags and I'd like to avoid this now.

So I was thinking of this neoprene sleeve, with a ice blanket. I could also buy more ice blanket and change it everyday to keep the kegs cold.

What do you think? Will this hold at least 2 days?

I have had good luck with them. They sure do cut down on what you haul to a picnic. I would recommend a couple of the ice sleeves so could swap them out. See my thread below.

Like Ed said, about ~3 hours in hot weather (not in direct sunlight) per ice pack. I've found an ice pack and sleeve is good indoors (78F) for up to ~4 hours, but don't expect more than that.

If you want 24+ hours per ice change, drop a couple of 3 gallon kegs in a converted 70qt cooler.

Thanks for the replies, it's appreciated.

So this system might work up here, since it's not has hot has Texas...

I'll get some extra ice sleeve also.

Just one more question: Is the Keglove is a sleeve or does it have Velcro/zipper to close it?

I'm asking you this because I might try to double the insulation...

It's a sleeve with a pocket for the ice pack.
