Jay, I was looking for a link to your website, it's not in your signature, and this is what I found on google:

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/jay-webster/15/a30/614

It says you run a home brew store, and that puts you in the "mental health care industry". Awesome.

Bobby,
Thank's for the valves. They worked out great. Do you know who might have spare seats that go around the ball? I'd like to have some on hand for backup.
Regards,
BB

Default Are these the same thing?

Since they're not available through our two members selling in this thread, are these the same thing?

They are 304 stainless, but you might want to take a look at this thread:

Thank you for that thread link; it looks like we might be speaking differently -- were those that were offered in this thread 304? The ball valves I've posted are 316; are 304 better than 316? I apologize in advance if this is completely off topic...

Reason: English is my first language, really, it is!

316 is considered a higher grade stainless when compared to 304. The difference is corrosion resistance for different fluids. We use 316 for our heat exchangers at work when dealing with sea water. Any metallurgists? I don't think it matters with slightly acidic wort and low fluid velocities.
