Default Is it possible to change course here?

I have a wash of 5.25 lbs. of white sugar dissolved in 2.5 gal. of water that has been fermenting in a 5 gal. carboy for the last few days (using EC-1118 champagne yeast). My original plans for the wash won't be coming to fruition and instead am wondering if it's possible to change course at this stage. Would it be possible to turn this into a cider of some sort by adding a blend of juices? Any ideas, if it is possible?

Well... you could just throw in a bunch of apple juice concentrate cans, or maybe enough to, if you'd mixed them with your 2.5 gallons of water, reconstitute 2.5 gallons of juice instead, then throw some extra juice on top. It'll be awful high ABV though, and a lot of people say that white sugar gives a pretty poor taste when its a primary fermentable. Still, at this point, all you have to lose is a few cans of concentrate and some extra juice. On the plus side, your yeast can most likely handle the high sugar concentrations. Give it a shot!
