Default did I mess this up?

I just started a hard lemonade. I used part of the must to start the yeast due to the acidity ( following yoopers recipe) I added the potassium metabisulfite BEFORE taking the must out for the starter...will it still work or do I need to start the starter over again?

It should be ok- just stir/shake the starter to encourage the SO2 to dissipate.
