Wrong approach. Create the correct recipe from the start using more malt to get the desired fermentables. You'll also need more hops to balance it and keep it in the bitterness range of the style your trying to make. There is a reason higher gravity beer costs more money, it takes more ingredients to make it right.
Like already mentioned, you can keep adding as much sugar as you want but anything over 10% of your ingredients will essentially start turning it to the cider end of the spectrum.
