Not for the worse. If anything, it puts the business end a little further into the center of the vessel to keep it away from ambient temp influence but I doubt it would be much different. I had some trouble with the 2.5" probes that I tried in this design but the 4" has been solid.

I see you say it will not work with kegs that have a bulge. Mine has a bulge but doesn't look like as much as in your pictures. It also has typical handles on the top. Do you have an option for a keg like this? could I hammer a channel in the bulge so it would fit?

I actually do make one that will accommodate but it's such a rare application that I've left it off the site so that product selection doesn't get too crazy.



The only challenge at the moment is that I'm waiting for a case of those street elbows to arrive.

Bobby, i have been looking for a combo for my cooler HLT. Would one of these fit a cooler? I know it is designed for a keggle or pot?
