Default Bottling a Lager?

Is it possible to bottle-carbonate a lager? Should I lager (cold store) the beer before bottling, then store the primed bottles for a couple of weeks at fermentation temps (55) to carbonate before chilling them to drinking temps?

I'd much rather bottle now, wait a couple of weeks for carbonation and then "lager" in the bottle.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Bottle, condition in warmer temps then cold lager again once the carb level is where you want it.
