Yuri, I checked out that site and to make a false bottom out of perforated stainless, the way I want it(15"), I would pay 105$ for a 24x24" sheet. I wanted this to fit like the Sabco FB and cover the entire floor. Am I looking at the right stuff?

24x24 is $44, or a custom-cut sheet is $33.75 (at the bottom of that page).

Not all of us are as adept as Yuri or have a Ph.d in DYI. I personally have never run into anyone that can do it all and as perfectly flawless as he. If god willing and ther creek don't rise i'd like to meet him someday!!!! If my suspitions are correct I have only meet one other individual like him and he has a god given talent, and for better words he was a natural at just about anything!!!!! I also suspect he's a perfectionist!!!! I just wish I had a small portion but for now I'm just anally fixated on BEER!!!!

I bent my own siphon out of 1/2" stainless tubing and connected using compression fittings. Works like a champ, goes in/out easily, costs like 5 bucks...

Yup, that's the right stuff.

To get the pie plate shape, you could hammerform it, but that's quite an art. I recommend just using a few stainless machine screws and nuts to create "legs" under a flat, circular piece of the perforated sheet. I'll post a pic if that doesn't make sense. You could also just fold a crease in it like Sabco's, but you'll need to back that up with something to reinforce it, or it might collapse under the weight of the grain.

So did you end up purchasing the siphon and false bottom? I want to order the false bottom but im not sure if it will work with my bargain fittings center siphon tube...The siphon from sabco is welded correct?
