As Music Critic! News at 11!

In addition to writing articles about homebrewing for The Brown Tweed Society and other publications, I also write music reviews. I'd be honored if some of my fellow and lady brewers read my scribbles!

Some examples:

Here's my latest review: a shorty previewing two tracks off of Spirits of the Dead's self-titled album from late 2009. Check the review out! It's a must-have album for fans of Wolfmother, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Rush, and other new- and old-school heavy-blues-rock greats!

Check it out and let me know what you think!

How are you sure that I'm not at least two sheets to the wind right now?

Ha! You got me, jspence1! Hey, I *do* have a nice homebrew in hand!

I post here because it seems like a nice place to post OT stuff. I didn't see a thread dedicated to music, but I know my fellow homebrewers like music, so I posted here. If there's a better place for it, let me know!

Also: please let me know if you have any advice or wisdom for novice homebrewers! I want to write another article and draw from the experience of this great community! Fo' realz, yo!

Here I go again, but not on my own. Patrick and Jay take a break from homebrew to drink whisky and talk about our proper love for the vinyl format.

Slainte!

Boioioioioioing! Spring is (almost) here! Swing into it with Benny Goodman and Jay over at The Brown Tweed Society!

(I'm about to start a robust Porter this weekend...but that's for the regular Forum!)
