Guy has roughly 50 or so 6 gallon glass carboys for 20 bucks in Irvine. Pretty decent deal. I might grab 3 or so. Do you guys think 6gals is to much for a secondary for 5gal batches?

For me putting 5 gallons into a 6 gallon carboy as a secondary would be too much headspace. If you can purge it with CO2 its no worry.
