Default forgot to stir yeast.

After shaking and aerating the wort I added the rehydrated yeast about and hour ago. I forgot to stir the yeast in I just poured it on top. Is it to late to shake the carboy or stir. Thanks

RDWHAHB! I never stir the yeast in, and I haven't been disappointed yet (except when I fermented Cheesefood's girly beer at too high a temperature).

There's absolutely no need to stir the yeast...it knows what to do.

I often get the feeling that the yeast is vastly more intelligent than I am.

If it's a highly flocculant yeast strain it's recommended to stir the fermenter a few times early on.
