Default I am looking for my next AG recipe....maybe a RED...any ideas?

Hello,

I am looking for a nice RED recipe. I will keep combing the recipe sight. Anyone want to recommend one or maybe one of their favorites for my 4th AG?

Thanks
Joe

I brewed this one a few weeks ago... Great example of the style, tastes like a slightly bigger Smithwick's. If you like Smithwick's, you'll like this one.

0.38 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM) Grain 3.03 %
1.25 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (60 min) Hops 23.3 IBU
0.25 tsp Irish Moss (Boil 10.0 min) Misc

I like to go with about 2-3% Aromatic malt, 7-8% C-60, 1% Roast Barley and then Pale malt the rest of the way. I aim for 22-25 IBU with about an ounce of late hops staggered at 20 and 5 minutes. I use Glacier or Styrian Goldings for my late additions.
