Ok so I have a pretty good Doppelweizenbock that I plan on entering into a homebrew competition. My question is that the rules state that you should enter the beer under all the names of the 'brewers' who 'participated' in the beer.

Do my two friends who came over to drink and hang out while I brewed count? I suppose they 'helped' by fetching a few things here and there, but really all they did was stand around, drink my homebrew and ask questions such as, "So you have to boil the beer?".

Ha, I wouldn't list them... I'm sure they wouldn't notice anyway. I unfortunately have nothing to enter for Bockfest, but I plan to be there and enjoy.

The only reason to name them as brewers would be out of the pure kindness of your heart. There is no need to do so, otherwise.

Beer is good for anything from hot dogs to heartache.
