Default Blichmann boil screen with keggles?

has anybody tried to use the Blichmann boil screen with a keegle dip tube? Seems like it would work, but you'd have to make the dip tube removable. Reason I ask is that I want to use my boilermaker as a mash tun and get a keggle for boiling but like the boil screen for whole hops.

It should work. Use a compression fitting or a union to allow it to be removed.

The real question is how it lays on the bottom of the keg. If it sits high you will leave a few ounces more in the bottom.
