Forgive this question as it sounds like I am a newbie. I have been homebrewing for 3 years, but this is only my second lagar I have ever made. I know lagars will ferment on the bottom, unlike ales which will ferment on top. Does this mean I should not use my dump valve on the 3rd day of fermenting, or am I over analyzing this? I do not want to dump active yeast. Any info is appreciated! Thanks.
