Default wort / yeast lost during blow off

Posted this as a reply to another post but didn't get a response...

So... here's my question. Thanks ahead of time..

I switched my primary from plastic to glass and didn't account for pressure in the carboy. "WHUMP", the airlock and stopper popped off the carboy and made a mess of my closet. I put the stopper back on and attached a blow off tube. 24 hours later, it settled down and lost about a half gallon just in the collection bucket. I reattached the airlock but haven't seen any fermentation since.

Should I consider repitching or should I just back off and leave it...?

Leave it. Give it two or three more weeks, take a gravity reading, and hopefully you'll be right where you want to be.
