Hi, I posted this in the fermentation section while tired and realized it is probably better served here. Is it okay for fermentation to have a weldless bulkhead or can that cause infection issues? Thanks! (want to use the Sanke as a BK and fermenter).

Are you leaving the wort in the BK after boil? If so you should have no issues because you just boiled the heck out of the fittings and they are well sanitized.

Yea, I would be. I need to figure out how to transfer the break and trub out but I would like to ferment right in there. True about the boiling.
