I'm trying to understand O.G contributions of ingredients. I found information on both DME and LME, but I haven't found the information for Begian clear candy sugar (BCCS).

In particular, I'm looking for how much 1 lbs. of BCCS would raise the O.G. of 5 gal of wort.

It'll be pretty much identical to sugar. 1.036 OG/lb/gal or so.

Edit: Beersmith also says 1.036, but it has corn sugar, beet sugar and brown sugar at 1.046. IIRC, the last recipe I made with candi sugar came out on gravity using the 1.036 figure.
