Default Thermowell Ferementation Kit

Does anyone have any experience with this setup?

My basement is starting to get too cold for fermenting ales. This seems like a good solution, albeit a little expensive.

I'm also considering the old aquarium pump and rubbermaid filled with water. Any thoughts on these two systems?

Seems pretty expensive compared to a desk lamp and some experimentation.

That does seem a little high. I think you can find the temp controller cheaper. Might be wiser to search the web and buy the items separately. It will work though.
