They had a lady on NPR yesterday talking about it. I found a little on the Interweb about it HERE. Dunno that I am brave enough to try and make some at home with my own trub. Has anyone tried it?

It's definitely an acquired taste.

If you like salty, briny things like sardines then you might like it.

I recently purchased some at Fresh and Easy which is owned by British based Tessco. Not sure if that new chain is in your part of the world.

Go for it. It tastes beefy.
Try it on toast. you just wave the knife at it.

You literally want the least you can get on.
It's great added to beef gravy.

i like vegimite, its the aussie version. good on toast, bad on everything else, the key is to use in moderation.
