I live out in the country and consequently have a septic system. B/c of this, i can't dump my one-step or PBW down the drain. Can anyone give me any insight how it would affect the soil / grass/ etc if i dumped it outside?

I don't know about either of those, BUT starsan is actually great for septic systems.

"PBW is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and will not harm the 'friendly' bacteria in your septic system."
Took me awhile, but here's the podcast where he talks about starsan being good for septic systems.

I dump it all on my lawn or in my garden. Don't dump any of that "biodegradeable" tire fix a flat green goop stuff on your lawn though, kills it dead.
