I need to find a place with a good price on a 10 gl SS brewpot.....

It is a Xmas present for me from my wife......

Does not need a ball vale or anything, but if the prices is right, you never know.....

I've looked at some of the big vendor's already....

SS: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/four...stockpots.html

Aluminum: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/four...stockpots.html

I have the standard weight aluminum and could not be happier with it. It is a very sturdy pot.

These are the same as the Mega-Pots that Northern Brewer sells, but a good bit less pricey than at NB.

I see 18/8 mentioned and 20 ga stainless......I would want one that is 18/8 at least right, and at least 1mm thick, right?

The thicker the sides the better?

HBRunner, I'm in the same situation and these are the two I came up with. I think total shipping for a 44 qt is going to be around $95.
