My Bud and Coors Lite drinking family love this stuff. First off, I can't believe they even liked it. It's 10% ABV and 100+ IBU's for God's sake! A far cry from what their used to. But they actually loved it. So do I. It's fantastic. If you like Arrogant or Double Bastard, you'll love this stuff. Not really meant to be a clone of DB but I tried to make it somewhat similar.
 
I like this recipe. Question: What are you getting from the Special b? At 5% of the grain bill, I would think it must come through quite significantly. I am excited to try something like this

Getting a lot of color and some deep caramel flavor and aroma. The Special-B and Caraaroma make this beer. BTW, the only reason I used Caraaroma was because I was light on Special-B...

<DROOL> I love dark caramel malts. Thats it! My next IPA will feature special B! I have 2 or 3 pounds that I have yet to try.
