I know Barley Wines and I think Imperials should be aged. Is there anything else? I'm just getting back into this and have a few brews planned that can be consumed in 4-8 weeks, but want to do something that I can bottle and set aside.

The big Belgian beers age well -- Belgian Golden Strong and Dark Strong as well as the Trappist Dubbel and Tripel.

Old Ales, Doppelbocks, and Imperial Stouts also age well. I think you'll find that most high gravity beers age well. The only exception to this might be Imperial IPAs which don't age so well because hop flavors & aroma are too diminished with age.

If Old Ale is too obvious for you I would go for a Strong Scotch Ale.

Maybe I'll give Old Ale or Olde Ale a try. Since beer is not my life, I'm not familiar with the style, so I'll have to find some at my local beer store.
