I think I might have wasted $65 today on a Ranco for my fermentation chamber. I think I could have used this $35 unit instead of paying $100 for the Ranco. I was looking for a more affordable heating solution on Amazon and came across this $35 temperature controlled outlet
. It's got a digital readout and setpoint. The thermostat cable seems short, but if I put it inside the chamber then that's not a problem.
I hate it when I feel like I've wasted my money!
It gets almost all 5-star reviews. Anyone tried one yet?
I'm sort-of hoping someone will tell me "That will never work because..."
But I'm also hoping it's a good solution so that brewers looking for fermentaton control in the future can take advantage of it.
