Thanks for your reply Mr. Salty. If I used an Immersion chiller in addition to a Plate chiller, I would be stylin.

Same here. That is one slick idea. I'm constantly having to stir the wort while cooling with the immersion chiller to bring hot wort in contact with the cool coils of the chiller. That gives an opportunity to aerate while too hot if you aren't very careful. The pump and whirlpool action avoids the stirring.
