Hi guys im new to the forum and a new brewer. I have my first brew a west coast pale ale that has been in the primary for a week now...when should I keg it ???

I was going to give it one more week in the primary then rack it into my keg and then artificially carbonate it. what do you think does this sound right??? Man i want to taste this heavenly goodness. I also have another 5 gallon batch of Polaris IPA (8differnt hops) that should be ready in two weeks or so.

Thanks for all the help guys take it easy.:tank:

cheers,

Mike

That sounds fine. If you're not going to rack it to a secondary fermenter for a few weeks, a little extra time in the primary won't hurt.

At least 7-10 days in the secondary would be nice, if you have the discipline...
