I'm going to brew Jamil's Reprobate American Stout this weekend and I can't think of a commercial example I've had of a big roasty malty stout.

What well known brand fits this beer style?? Thanks.

American Stout - Beer Advocate

BJCP Style Guidelines - American Stout (commercial examples toward bottom of sub category.

I'd say Sierra Nevada Stout is a good example and is widely available.

Yeah, sorry about that. I always forget about Beer Advocate as an easy place to look this up. I love most stout, I just can't decide if I think I would like this one or not.
