its an amber-red ale. i see no section in the database for regular "ambers" or american ambers

actually i just plugged this brewbuilder and it shows that its off for a true amber.

OG 1.071 to high
FG 1.018 to high
ibu 19.6 to low
srm 18.75 to high
abv 6.94 to high

this recipe is based VERY close from a popular brewer. the OG and ibu and everything in the orginal post is what was given by him.

I'm going to place it with American Amber, then. A hybrid is an ale that uses lager yeast, or rather a lager that isn't fermented as a lager. An American amber is in the same category as American pale ale.
