Default Best bar in Vegas to get a "good" beer?

I know I've seen this in the forum before but how about an update. I'm leaving in the morning for a four day conference and need a watering hole with "good" beer on the strip. Any ideas? I'm staying at Caesars so in stumbling distance would be nice but beggars can't be choosers.

I like Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay, although that's a bit of a haul from Caesar's.

The circle bar between Bellagio and the shops there had a decent selection of Belgians last time I was there.

They had Rogue Hazelnut Brown on tap at the bar (the big one that sells the frozen drinks, beside the big white tented seating area) in front of Caesar's, just behind the steps up to the pedestrian bridge across the strip.

I've heard that Pour 24 in New York New York has a lot of good stuff on tap too.

The brewery at Main Street Station is nice but nowhere near the strip.

Skip Sin City at Planet Hollywood. The beer I've had there is boring and uninspired.

There is a burger bar in The Mirage that I seem to remember had a decent selection and great burgers. In addition to what weirdboy said, the piano bar at Bellagio had some nice beers, probably the same selection. At Paris you can find Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada ( on tap and fresh ).

I might be too late, but I second Pour 24 at NYNY, good selection, and they do beer "flights" of different styles. Not really stumbling distance, but I always take the monorail everywhere.

There is also a Sin City inside the Flamingo (across the street from Caesars), which, as has been said, is kind of boring, but much better that BMC, and definitely within stumbling distance.

It's not too late. I'll be following this while I'm there. Looking forward to a nut brown this afternoon.

Stumble across the street to Bally's. Inside, on the floor, the satellite bars had Pyramid Hefe and Alaskan Amber last time I was there (year and a half). Instead of giving them $5 for a beer, just sit down and put $5 in the video poker embedded in the bar. Play a hand out while they comp you a beer. If you lose, you paid $5 for a tasty beer. If you win money... BONUS!!!

After a few hands/beers... Go to the casino behind Bally's - Ellis Island. They had 5 great beers there and a "sample flight" is free, while 20 oz glasses are like $1 or $2 each. Great beer, great bargain. Oh, and have a meatball sandwich in their restaurant... Heavenly!!!

I hate to be the naysayer, but I will be anyway.

It's getting rarer and rarer to get free drinks for very little play at casinos. In most places they want you to play $20 in for $1.25 a hand minimum. That may not be true at Bally's, but most likely it is.

Ellis Island is great in a cheesy way. But that is some long walk.

I didn't mention it before, and it is not walking distance, but the Hofbrauhaus is quite good. It is near the Hard Rock, so you'll need a car or cab. But they have good beer, the place is a blast and the food is good German comfort food.
