Default Spoiliage?

So I whiffed the plastic airlock on top of my primary, and I'm getting a "sour" smell to it 2 weeks in (it didn't used to smell like this)? This batch is my first all grain, oatmeal stout...if that means anything. Would a sour smell in the airlock mean my beer's spoiled or contaminated?!? Maybe it's just the water in the airlock? Thanks!

Probably CO2, thats whats escaping out of the airlock.

Nothing to worry about right now. Fermentation gives off all kinds of funky smells. Am I right, Revvy?
