I want to do a pumpkin ale with fresh pumpkin instead of canned. I read that fresh pumpkin is less concentrated than canned pumpkin. Any idea how I'd convert a recipe that calls for canned pumpkin for use with fresh pumpkin?

Well I just did a 14lb pumpkin and steeped the pumpkin pieces at 152 for 30 minutes. And then pulled it out and I feel like I still didn't get enough pumpkin flavor in the beer.
