First time fermenting a Weisenbock in the 7 gal Ale Pale. Guess I didn't have enough head space?
Caught it this morning just before heading off to work, so only time for one pic and cleanup. Now have a blowoff tube from airlock to a growler of Starsan that is placed between the two fermenters. Gotta love that Coopers fermenter. Same volume of wort, same yeast pithced and there has never been a blowoff from it.
That's not a beer gut, it's a liquid grain storage facility!
