Got with reguards to DME. By corn sugar do you mean corn syrup.
Excuse my ignorance. I have some experience with wine producing, but not with carbonated anything. Sound good though!!

Corn Sugar, which (i think) is dextrose. You can buy it at your HBS. They sell it by the #, but also in packets pre-measured. The Magic Hat kit I did had a 3/4 cup premeasured. I don't normally do kits, so I buy it in bulk and meaure it out when needed.
