Default priming sugar

hi there. I would like to know is there a priming sugar calculator available?

if not, how can I know the amount of sugar that I have to add before bottling? my friend had problems with exploding bottles, I don't want this to happen to me...

is there some kind of chart or table, or something like that to help with priming?
