New to making wine and wondering how to choose a type of grape to use? Is there a way to know how many pounds of grapes, per type, would be needed per gallon of wine?

Each wine grape makes a specific wine, so if you want a pinot, you use pinot grapes.

grape wines are made from the juice of the grapes it usaly takes about 16 to 18 lbs of grapes to make 1 gallon of wine.
