Default Need help with primary fermenting in glass carboy.

Hello all. So I think my next batch I want to primary ferment from a glass carboy with a blow off tube.

1. Do you just pitch the yeast in a regular 6.5 gallon plastic bucket and then dump with funnel into the glass carboy or just dump the yeast through the little carboy hole?

2. What methods do you use to aerate the wort?

1) You can just dump it all into carboy, no need to messy up the bucket.

2) You can use a pump, or just shake

Pitch into the carboy, and I aerate with a degassing rod on a drill.
