Anyone here get The Order 1886?

Amazing graphics, nearly everything else about it is awfully bad. Save your money, rent if you have to, I finished it in about 6 hours and spent most of it annoyed, lol.

I can't remember the last time a console game delivered:confused:

Thanks for the warning. It looked visually impressive from the commercials, but I was undecided on picking it up.

I just finished up the main story on Dead Rising 3 and am now playing through the DLC missions. It seems like compared to the last 2 games (especially the orginal) they really cut back on the feeling of the time crunch. They also eliminated the need to escort the (usually worthless) survivors back to a safe house, which eliminated a lot of frustration, but some of the strategy as well. It made for some tense moments in the first game trying to lead some survivors while debating whether it was worth taking a side trip to defeat a boss on the way.

I bought a copy of Crysis3 years ago from a GameStop discount bin. Played through part of the first level and lost interest.

Started it back up this weekend and am somewhat enjoying it.

I am kind of looking forward to Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, but that isn't until April 7th on PS4. Not to mention it is just a remix/remaster of DS2 but should be entertaining nonetheless. Although, by that time I may just give up and wait for Elder Scrolls release on June 9th. Who knows..

Dark Souls 2 is another game I have but lost interest in quickly. I think that one had more to do with network issues on their end.

If Crysis loses my interest I may pick that back up too.

Dragon Age. Be like Nike and just do it. I'm tellin' you.

My buddy sold his copy of Dragon Age and picked up Dying Light so I was finally able to see what that is all about. It looks relatively entertaining despite the fact that watching my friend play a game can be rather painful.

Its been addicting on and off. Nice quick game good for parties. MirImage is my GT.

Haven't played XB1 much lately; most my free time for gaming has gone to an old MMO called Ultima Online.

I've been playing games and other systems on and off but mostly xb1. My gt is DistubedChemist (exactly)

I had been playing the most recent Tomb Raider until I reached ShantyTown. Got burnt out trying to figure out a puzzle and moved on to something else (ooh look squirrel).

Fed up with Destiny and ever backward evolution I started playing Crysis 3 again. Bored with that because of it's PVEFPS similarity to, every other FPS PVE I decide to try Tomb Raider again. I do enjoy this game. And hope the next one is better than this one.

Almost bought Dying Light. Just saw release date for Battlefield: Hardline. Going to wait for that. Not much (video game wise) better than getting drunk with friends and trying to drive vehicles on BF. Fairly excited. The beta for it was entertaining.

Still playing GTA V. Trying to find and play all i can before I do the final Heist. Trying to 100% or close to it. Bought a bunch a games for cheap. Playing Wolfenstien- the New Order. Awesome game. I loved and played the crap out of the one on the original xbox. Got a few others. Havent started them yet

I am pretty sure you can continue playing GTA V even after you finish the last mission and get achievements, etc. At least, I don't recall starting a new game after I finished mine.

You can, although I think depending on the ending you go for, not all of the characters may be available.

Wife randomly bought me Dying Light, kind of wish she didn't but a nice gesture. Put in about 8 hours throughout the course of the weekend, completed almost all non-story trophies from just running around smashing zombies in a hungover daze. It's fun, not sure how much game time is left in it.

I just played Transistor and its an awesome game. was like $15 or 20 on steam. played through it twice. highly recommend it.

Also started to play Child of light. Im not a fan of that kinda style with turn based jrpg style. Lost interest cause of that battle system.

Played through the campaign of Homefront over the weekend, not a bad game really even though it was mostly forgotten by many, controls default to clunky so you have to increase the stick sensitivity and it's a bit on the short side (4-5 hours) but fun and a gritty story. Playing a level here and there on guerrilla mode and its a challenge! 1, 2 his and you're down.

Played one hour of Dying Light last night when I got home; told myself no funking around this time, that I was going to have a short session and stick to the story. It was rewarding. The part of the story I did was exciting and emotional, made me want to play more but I didn't.

Also accidentally found a "secret" area? With a very strange message. Not going to spoil that though.

Starting to consider getting an Xbox One now. Too many interesting games coming out for XB1 and not 360.

Do the XB1 and 360 share a live account or does Microsoft bleed their consumers for a second account if they choose to keep both consoles active?

They are the same one. You just cant communicate between. Like if someone sends you a message on the 360. You cant read it on the one. Also with the 360 you can see what the other person is playing on the one.

You do not have to have a separate account. Just some features are not cross platform because the One is run on a different set of servers or different updated xbox live system.

I still have both and have no issue going back and forth.

Cool. That is a relief.

Have you read about Microsoft bringing Live to PC with Windows10. For FREE!

I read but I dont care. More than likely they will not get the free games every month or some features we have on consoles. They have thousands of dollar computer but I have a $400 console that is pretty much the same level as theirs. i do not mind paying 50-60 a year. I've been on live since day one with some time off when i was in college.

I didn't care until I read that. It just annoyed me. Prior to, I just chalked it off as "the price of entertainment". I knew there was a time when PS did not charge for service, but I don't have PS. However, I think that changed.

Just irked me a bit to read that PC will have access to the same servers as XBox but for free. Something to do with W10 platform playing nice with console. I don;t play much online but I expect this will further saturate issues and cause more server downtimes. I'm sure there will be some limitation to PC on Xbox live, somewhere. Maybe.

Just got Ori and the Blind Forest yesterday. Pretty fun game. PC and Xbox gamers should check it out. i got it on steam for $20.

Really? I don't know what PC's you are seeing around you but no way are the current gen consoles close to being on the same level as PC's, especially PC's that cost thousands of dollars.

The PS4 which is slightly superior to the XBone was already years behind on release.

Really depends on how you built that PC. if you designed it to be a gaming PC and spent most the $ one the GPU and CPU then it will be much better than a console in terms of performance.

its probably cause most PC games have online for free. Its the norm on PC and always has been. Mutiplayer online gaming has been around on PC long before consoles.

Online for consoles has only had online access the last couple generations and when they introduced it it was pay to play for xbox and PSN eventually jumped on that wagon since Xbox players were paying for it they knew there users would too. So the norm for consoles is to pay for it. M$ knows the PC players arent going to pay so why even try.

Every time someone types this I read it as X-Bone. After a double take I realize what is being talked about.

The main strength of a console is much like what keeps Mac computers strong. With the restrictive hardware configuration the software can be optimized for the hardware. With PCs your box could be half made of legos and the other half being made of a water wheel and twigs.

The fixed platform thing is a mixed bag. It's good for developers, because then they have a known target for which to develop, and it speeds up their entire development process. The known target also means that as the years go by they will become much more experienced targeting that specific hardware, resulting in quicker development cycles and better performance from existing hardware.

On the other side of the coin, by the time the current generation of consoles is ready to be put out to pasture, it is quite possible that smartphones and tablets will look and play better than a PS4 or XBone.

That's not really the case anymore. The new consoles (both ps4 and XB1) run on the same architecture as PCs. If you optimize a game for the console your doing it for the PC too. Also AMD and Nvidia are always optimizing there drivers for new games on PC.

NVidia has Sheild for just that

Battlefield: Hardline

Can't wait to take it to my buddies house on a free night and get wrecked trying to play.
