No worries, I appreciate everyone's advice. After some reading up, it sounds like this beer definitely should be given a chance to age. I think I'll exercise some patience and see how it develops. Thanks, Bob.

I like people bitching for bitching sake. Jesus...RDWHAHB. First off no one had actually answered the OP's question about what hops to use IF he were to do this. Kindly realize that. The only response he was getting was "don't do it, it's not to style". If every brewer only brewed "to style" we'd be nowhere in this craft. It's because folks brew outside of that that we have the selections we have. We now have Imperial everything (no "style" for that other than to say Imperial.) We have Cascadian Dark or Black IPA. No "style" style for that. What's wrong with saying it's a dry hopped wee heavy? That should give anyone a good sense of what to expect.

I'm bitching now, but I wasn't in my initial post. Trying to have a little fun here. I guess I'm in the wrong place for that.
