Do whole flower hops give a better hop aroma than pellets?

Not necessarily. . . If you use a carboy, whole hops are a pain to get out when you are done. I've dry hopped with both, and I probably prefer pellets.

Pellet hop debris is pretty fine. Is there any significant advantage to putting them into a hop bag before siphoning the beer from the primary on top of them?
